I am participating in the “31 Days to Build a Better Blog Challenge,” and the first task is to write an elevator pitch, a brief description of my blog that is short enough to pitch during a ride in an elevator. Here goes:
What happens when a timid and squeamish woman decides it’s time for a change? At my blog, I write about pushing myself out of my comfort zone as I take on a series of challenges. Some are related to fitness and food, and others are just new experiences—riding a mechanical bull, shooting a gun, taking a Zumba class—that the old me would have avoided. Whether you are looking for ideas on new things to try or a few laughs as you read about an insecure woman trying to tackle the world, check out “(Don’t Be) Too Timid and Squeamish.”
I had to hone the pitch down to no more than 140 characters.
What happens when a timid and squeamish woman decides it’s time for a change? Some new challenges: riding a mechanical bull, shooting a gun, eating vegan for a week…
