Three things:
1. I am excited to join the Cookie Swap that I first heard about from Shannon at My Place in the Race. Anyone have a great cookie recipe to recommend?
2. I extended the writing prompt link party, so there is still time to link up a story about mean kids or a playground memory. The next prompt will be to share a story about your religious upbringing (on Friday, 11/18).
3. I liked this idea from Rachel at Finding Joy. She invites you to link up a picture of yourself with your blog. Non-bloggers are invited to link up a photo of something they are passionate about.

what a fun blog you have! love the 4 corners picture in your header. a place I want to go to some day! visiting from Finding Joy!

I don’t bake much, but I’ve perfected a few cookie recipes. Since I only bake once in a while, I figured I’d specialize and get really good at something rather than pretty good at a bunch. Let me know if you want any of these three:
No-bake chocolate/peanut butter/oatmeal
— but I seriously think I make the best gingerbread cookies ever
Gramma Knott’s Bird’s Nest cookies – she was a Cookie Master
Gingerbread – I’m not a braggy person — right?
Oh, I LOVED those Bird’s Nest cookies. Randy did too. It’s not often that a non-chocolate recipe can win my heart, either. I would love that recipe. Thanks!
Yay! I’m glad your making cookies too!!!

I’m excited about it. It should be really fun. (I don’t usually bake cookies, though, so I’m gonna have to practice!)
Love seeing you join in Me and My Blog. Great link ups. The cookie swap sound oh so interesting. Great meeting you in bloggy world. Blessings friend.
